Although no pictures were taken today, we were informed that Mitzy was busy trying to find a home for an abandoned kitten. She even posted an add on a blog that belongs to one of her friends, saying: “Sunt un pisic mic si necajit, am numai o luna si am fost bolnavior. Acuma mi-am revenit dar sunt singur pe lume si m-as bucura daca ar vrea cineva sa ma adopte. Promit multa dragoste in schimb.“
The quest was unfortunatelly unsuccessful and it appears that the kitten will be taken to a shelter in the city. Nevertheless, her efforts and determination are genuinely admirable. As far as we know, she is the proud owner of Cookie the cat (picture above). Its predecesor was the late Bleghi the cat (may it rest in peace!) whose premature death affected her profoundly. Yet, she bounced back and learned that life goes on and death is an inevitable part of stuff. We told her then the same thing we told our boyfriend when he found out about Flower Whiskers‘ death (the star meerkat from an Animal Planet show): “she’s a small animal. They die!”
Luckily, in the case of the abandoned kitten no consolation is necessary, just congratulations!
